Meet Selene and Calista

Selene and Calista are the sisters at the center of In This Life and the Next. Their bond is not only familial; they have found one another in every lifetime, carrying an old connection into a new and dangerous world.

When Calista begins dying from an illness no siren should survive, Selene acts. Her choice to seek vampire blood is an act of devotion, but it also breaks an ancient law and opens a door the sisters cannot easily close.
